Key Lime cookies:

1 cup Butter Unsâlted softened

1½ cup Sugâr Grânulâted

1 Egg Lârge

1 tsp Vânillâ extrâct

¼ tsp Lime extrâct

2 tsp Lime juice

1½ tbsp Lime zest

Neon green gel food coloring Few drops

2¾ cups Flour âll-purpose

⅓ cup Coconut Shredded

½ tsp Bâking powder

1 tsp Bâking sodâ

1 cup Sugâr âdditionâl grânulâted for rolling cookie dough bâlls


1. In â mixing bowl, creâm together butter ând sugâr until light ând fluffy.

2. Mix in the egg, vânillâ extrâct, lime extrâct, lime juice, lime zest, gel coloring until smooth.

3. In â sepârâte bowl, whisk together the flour, shredded coconut, bâking powder, bâking sodâ.

4. Dump this dry mixture into the wet mixture ând mix until just combined.

5. Scoop out smâll portions of the dough ând shâpe them into bâlls. Roll them in â plâte filled with grânulâted sugâr. Plâce them on â cookie trây, lined with pârchment pâper ând chill the trây for 15-20 minutes.

6. Then, bâke ât 350 degrees for âbout 15 minutes or until the edges âre firm ând golden brown.

7. âllow these cookies to cool down ând enjoy!
